NEXT UP: “The Play That Goes Wrong”

A British community theatre, the Cornley Drama Society, has received a bequest which has allowed them to put on their most well-funded show to date, a classic English country house murder mystery, “The Murder at Haversham Manor”. Set in the 1920s and very much in the vein of classic crowd pleasers like Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap”, this should be the highlight of their season – until a series of on-stage mishaps literally brings the house down around them.

ANASTASIA

Based on the beloved animated movie from 20th Century Fox, Anastasia is both a heartwarming and heart-wrenching dive into one of history’s biggest unanswered questions: what happened to Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov? Set amidst the turmoil of the Russian revolution with the Bolshevik regime on the rise, Anya, an amnesiac orphan stranded in what was once the Russian capital, St. Petersburg, is on a quest to rediscover her past which she believes lies in Paris. Anastasia explores one determined girl’s journey to find home, love, and family as she discovers who she was and embraces who she is meant to be.

NEXT TO NORMAL

Next to Normal takes audiences into the minds and hearts of each character, presenting their family's story with love, sympathy and heart.  Winner of three 2009 Tony Awards, including Best Musical Score and the 2010 Pulitzer Prize, Next to Normal was also chosen as "one of the year's ten best shows" by critics around the country, including The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, Rolling Stone and The New York Times.

LITTLE WOMEN

Under the guidance of their beloved mother, the four young March sisters -- tempestuous Jo, motherly Meg, shy Beth, and spoiled baby Amy -- struggle to keep their family going while Father's away in the Civil War. In this beautifully dramatized adaptation of the classic novel, even as privation, illness, and sibling rivalry cast their shadows, each girl strives to find her true self.
